Some pictures below taken inside the house, to give you a feel of the property.
Upstairs Double Bedroom (sleeps 2) See that lovely view from the bedroom window? This is the smaller of the two upstairs bedrooms, but it has the best views, as it looks the other way down the headland as well from the second window. The bed is raised so you can lie in bed and watch the sea in 2 directions.
Upstairs Twin bedroom (sleeps 2) Again with a lovely view over Cemaes Beach. The beds will be made up for you, and two towels each provided as well. This is the largest bedroom, with plenty of space for a cot. Hopefully the photos give you a good idea of the room. (found in the attic of this room)
Downstairs Bedrooms (sleeps 2/3) Not as much of a sea view as the upstairs bedrooms, as facing the other way, but you can still glimpse see the sea from the window (looking far right over the wall) and also through the door, by looking through the hall window. This is a Jay-bee bed, with a double mattress below, and a single above, so a bunk bed with a greater choice of sleeping options than the normal single one. It is very solid, and comfortable, so fine for adults as well as children.
Upstairs Bathroom Recently installed, with a spacious p shaped bath, shower, WC, and tiled floor with lovely warm underfloor heating. The bathroom has a window with one way glass, so you can enjoy the view , but no-one can see in, the blind is only necessary when it goes dark.
Downstairs Bathroom. Fully tiled, contains shower with a foldaway seat, sink and WC. Heated tiled floor, as in the upstairs bathroom. Updated 2019
Dining Area The table seats 6 comfortably, but extends to seat 8, and there are 2 extra chairs available in the bedrooms if you have visitors. There is a serving hatch through to the TV area, and extensive views of the sea through the patio doors, which can be opened for easy access to the garden. We also have 4 little chairs for young children, they can even have their own table if you use one of the coffee tables.
Kitchen Area Comfortable seating area, with great views, electric fire, book shelf filled with books, both fiction and non fiction, and Anglesey Guides.
Plenty of cupboards, views while chopping the veg at the breakfast bar, fully equipped.
TV/Games area All open plan area, forming an L shape from the sunroom and so views all round. Snug with the blinds down at night for surround sound experience. A selection of DVDs for rainy days. Not that there are many!
Views extend right round from Wylfa head to Llanbadrig Church:
and actually right round and up the beach:
Entrance Hall Spacious entrance hall with tile floor, and underfloor heating.
Hopefully this gives you a feel for Spindrift. The sea is important to us, and if you are looking for a place this close to the sea to holiday, it will be perfect for you. There are times, if it is stormy, and a North wind, when the spray from the waves hits the house. (Not waves themselves though!) However, as the bay faces north, and the prevailing wind is south west, Spindrift is generally sheltered.
