The main beach on the other side of the river and harbour. For bigger boats it is worth the drive round to launch here, as there is plenty of space, and parking available.
At low tide, as you would expect, the gradient gets very shallow. But this is the most popular place to launch, with a large car park at the top, easy launch and recovery at high tide.
